  Day 1: SENA TO AYUTTHAYA

Board The Golden Naga Barge and cruise along a succession of canals off the main stream of the Chao Phraya River including the scenic Khlong Phak Hai, at the end of which, we make a U-Turn and head back toward the Chao Phraya River. Enjoy the exquisite scenery at every bend of the river as well as along its entire stretch.

Lunch at "Chao Phraya Hut", a riverside restaurant

14:30 hrs

Cruise down along Chao Phraya to Ayutthaya

16:00 hrs

Arrive in Ayutthaya, visit the romantic ruins of Wat Phutthai Sawan
built in 1353 and the famous Wat Phananchoeng Temple built in 1325,
before Ayutthaya was founded as the capital.

18:30 hrs

The Barge proceeds to Ayutthaya Thai House where you sip a long,
cool drink as you watch the sun set on Ayutthaya.

20:00 hrs

Cruise around Ayutthaya Island by night and enjoy a Thai cuisine dinner
at the most famous riverside restaurant in Ayutthaya - serving delicious, aromatic king-sized grilled prawns.

With the glow of twinkling lights illuminating the majestic temples and
ancient landmarks, the view of the river by night is absolutely enchanting.

  Day 2: Ayutthaya - Bang Pa-In - Sena

  • Wat Sala Pun Temple

  • The Chantarakasem National Museum which houses some of the sculptural masterpieces from the Lopburi and Ayutthaya schools.

Lunch. Enjoy the popular local boat noodle-soup, Kuiw Teow Ruea

Return to The Golden Naga Barge and continue your journey down the
Chao Phraya River.

Visit the majestic Bang Pa-In Summer Palace.

15:00 hrs

Continue up the Mae Nam Noi River to Sena.

Arrive in Sena and transfer to Bangkok.
